Just made this tonight. It’s kinda like the grownup version of the cheap box pasta I made last week. Fresh carrot pasta shells from the farmer’s market, peas, broccoli, in a carbonara sauce made with bacon (some really nice stuff I just got), butter, pecorino romano, and four egg yolks. Then tons of black pepper because apparently that’s where the name ‘carbonara’ comes from - the black specs seen in the pasta from tons of black pepper.
